Off-Duty Officer Saves Baltimore Shooting Victim

A Baltimore shooting victim has an off duty Baltimore police sergeant to thank for his life.

The sergeant was driving in his personal vehicle when he noticed a 31-year-old man slumped over on the 2700 block of West Belvedere Avenue around 1:43 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

The Sergeant called for additional help and jumped out of his vehicle to administer aid to the victim, who said he had been shot on the 3100 block of Spaulding Avenue by an unidentified suspect before running to where he was found.
